Happy Treason Day, or Independance Day! Some exploratory sketches on how men would look in my comic. Thoughts below.

I guess today is about breaking free and gaining independance as a nation right?
I feel like that's what I am trying to do for myself and my family. I am unlearning how to be a producer for clients in this big content/propaganda machine. It is so hard to even think about doing things for myself. That's why I started my #dailydrawing #dailypainting challenge. I hadn't touched a sketchbook in years because I was so creatively burnt out! After a year of just drawing, sketching, and painting from life I notice my sketchbook is evolving too. Now it is starting to focus on my own ideas! This comic is starting to be one of my focuses. Which is so refreshing and exciting for me. I hope I can keep this up.
